Heated Rivalry's Hudson Williams Puts a Glam Twist on Matador Look at Met Gala 2026
The breakout stars of Heated Rivalry marked their first Met Gala appearances after the series turned them into fashion fixtures.
On Monday, May 4, 2026, Heated Rivalry stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams made their Met Gala debut at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, celebrating the 'Costume Art' exhibition at The Met's nearly 12,000-square-foot Condé M. Nast Galleries.
Since the November 2025 HBO premiere of Heated Rivalry, the actors have experienced rapid rise to prominence, becoming Hollywood's new favorite IT boys and presenting at the Golden Globes and serving as torchbearers in the Olympic Torch Relay within five months.
Sporting a custom matador-inspired Balenciaga ensemble designed by creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, Hudson Williams featured geometric black crystal embroidery, a dramatic train, and makeup inspired by the 2010 film Black Swan created by groomer Aika Flores.
Complementing his co-star, Connor Storrie arrived in a custom Saint Laurent suit paired with Tiffany & Co. jewelry, including a diamond-encrusted floral brooch with a three-carat rubellite center valued at $9,900 and rope huggie earrings.
The 25-year-old Williams is currently filming the thriller Apparatus in Canada while a second season of Heated Rivalry aims for spring 2027, and he also stars in the Canadian drama Yaga, which AMC+ acquired exclusive U.S. streaming rights to last week.
