The former Puerto Rican boxer succumbed to the heavy neurological sequelae, caused by illegal blows received during a fight in 2015. His disappearance ended a long ordeal, and plunged his supporters into great sadness.
Pritchard Colón was born in Florida, but moved to Puerto Rico when he was a kid, where he quickly became a promising boxer, and until he was 20, he won the Puerto Rico amateur championship five times and won the gold medal at the Pan American Youth Games.
