He forged paintings for years without anyone questioning their authenticity, and after serving his sentence, he began to create and sell under his own name. German artist Wolfgang Beltracchi is now presenting a cross-section of his work at the Municipal House in Prague. His exhibitions are repeatedly accompanied by questions about how many undetected forgeries, not only by Beltracchi, are actually circulating on the art market.
