KEMPTEN (Germany), May 7 (Bernama-dpa) – A married couple convicted of stealing nearly €1.9 million (US$2.2 million) from parking meters in southern Germany have each been sentenced by Kempten Regional Court to five and a half years in prison, German Press Agency (dpa) reported.
A married couple has been sentenced to five and a half years in prison each for stealing coins from parking meters. The court stated that the thefts involved 317 separate incidents. The couple must repay more than 1.9 million euros.
