HUNTINGTON — Marshall softball’s Sydni Burko broke the Herd’s single-season home run record last weekend mere feet from where she watched games as a child. The hometown homer queen, a native of Ona, grew up around Marshall softball, enveloped in the Herd’s Lil’ Sis program – pairing young girls in the community with a mentor on the team.
