Brian Halonen named Utica Comets' All-Star replacement for 2026 festivities

Brian Halonen, the Utica Comets hard-shooting, gritty winger, was announced as the team's representative for next week's AHL All-Star Classic in Illinois. The soft-spoken Minnesota native was announced Tuesday afternoon as the replacement for Comets defenseman Seamus Casey, who is "unable to participate," according to the AHL. The league's festivities are scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 10 and Wednesday, Feb. 11 in Rockford, Illinois.
