The German government has considered the production of "Green Hydrogen" in Namibia as a "strategic foreign project" of 10 billion. As a strategic customer for this business, one of the major German energy suppliers, RWE, had put its interest in 300,000 tons per year in view. The company has now distanced itself from this plan.
