Eleven villagers were killed Sunday by gunmen in Kankia, in Nigeria's northwestern Katsina State, reported Xinhua, quoting police.
A manhunt for the attackers is ongoing, Katsina state police spokesman Aliyu Abubakar Sadiq told Xinhua over the phone.
