A high-level meeting was held in Gandhinagar on Saturday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel to ensure proper management of drinking and irrigation water in the state. The meeting also discussed the possible impacts of El Nino conditions on rainfall and water availability in the state. The Chief Minister has given clear instructions that if there is not adequate rainfall in the coming time and the water inflow into the reservoirs does not increase, then the need for drinking water should be given priority.
