Guillermo Weickert (Huelva, 1974), awarded the National Dance Award 2025 in the Creation modality that the Ministry of Culture has made public, is one of the most unique choreographers and stage creators of the Spanish contemporary scene. His work, in which dance, physical theatre and performance coexist, is characterized by a constant search for new expressive languages and by a very personal way of inhabiting light, space and movement.
