Months before its September deal with the Pakistan army, Trump-linked US drone firm Powerus had signed a pact with India's Paras Defence in June to manufacture and commercialise its Guardian-1 counter-drone system.
Paras Defence has acquired an exclusive license for Powerus' Guardian-1 anti-drone technology in India. This agreement, due in June 2026, will promote indigenous manufacturing. Powerus is known as a Trump-linked company.
