Growing wildfire discovered south of Ashcroft and Cache Creek

A out-of-control wildfire has been discovered over 30 kilometres away from Ashcroft. BC Wildfire is reporting a three hectare wildfire along the Inkikuh Creek, east of Highway 1. The wildfire is located outside the eastern borders of the Pemynoos 9 reserve. It was discovered on Saturday, May 2. The blaze is suspected to be human caused according to BC Wildfire. Firefighting resources have yet to be assigned to the fire.
