- The ambush on Nov. 26 occurred at a subway station three blocks from the White House, where Army Spc. Sarah Beckstrom died the following day and Wolfe was among more than 2,000 deployed troops.
- Showing progress, Wolfe on Monday responded to a nurse with a thumbs-up and could move his toes, while Wolfe's family expects he will remain in acute care for two to three weeks.
- The suspect, 29-year-old Afghan national Rahmanullah Lakanwal, was charged with murder, pleaded not guilty, and President Trump met Wolfe's family in the Oval Office, Trump said.
