- Sixteen military officers were arrested for direct participation, with others detained for reconnaissance and funding, including Brigadier General MA Sadiq and Lieutenant Colonels AA Hayatu, P Dangnap, and M Almakura tasked with seizing the Presidential Villa and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
- Defence officials said the probe has been concluded and forwarded to appropriate superior authority, with authorities awaiting presidential approval to constitute a court-martial panel where at least 25 military officers and personnel are expected to face trial.
- Amid continuing operations, intelligence sources disclosed informants inside the Presidential Villa monitored movements while one suspect fled to South America and key financiers remain at large.
