The Government is preparing a reform to strengthen the Register of Royal Owners and to check who actually owns or controls companies.The aim is to make it difficult for companies, headstands or business structures to be used to hide money.
Not everyone will check who benefits from the profits of companies. From 1 January 2027, access to the Central Register of Beneficial Owners will require the demonstration of a legitimate interest. Such changes are provided for in the draft laws adopted by the government on Tuesday.
