Government incentives reshape SME hiring strategy

Doncaster Chamber has backed a new package of government incentives designed to help SMEs recruit and train young people, as businesses across South Yorkshire continue to face skills shortages. The funding introduces a £3,000 payment for employers hiring 18 to 24-year-olds who have been on Universal Credit for at least six months.
