(Indianapolis, IN) — Gov. Mike Braun is asking the federal government for emergency assistance as Indiana continues recovering from severe storms and historic flooding. Gov. Mike Braun  Braun on Friday requested a Presidential Emergency Declaration through FEMA, which would bring additional federal resources to Indiana following severe weather that began impacting the state Monday. The governor’s office said Indiana has experienced historic flooding, tornado activity and a derecho.
