Marian Eisden, 18th on the GroenLinks-PvdA Gouda candidate list, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday at the age of 59. She can still be voted for in next week's municipal elections, as the candidate lists have already been compiled. Those votes will then go to GroenLinks-PvdA. The Gouda party's lead candidate, Claire Philips, has announced that the campaign will be suspended for three days.
