- CEO Varun Sivaram calculated that flexible data centers could free up 100 GW of power by utilizing around 50% headroom on existing networks, potentially shortening the ten-year wait for grid connections.
- AEMA-Compliant data centers can throttle electricity usage during peak demand, such as heatwaves, while the alliance establishes technical specifications and performance metrics to enable reliable operations at scale.
- Anthropic is set to join the alliance, which aims to "help the US build the infrastructure of intelligence at the speed and sustainability the moment demands," Nvidia Head of Sustainability Josh Parker wrote.
