A Goleta man was arrested on Sunday night on suspicion of killing his mother, according to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office. Spokesperson Raquel Zick said Lynn Areno, 72, was found deceased at 7:33 p.m. at a home on the 5500 block of Armitos Avenue in Old Town Goleta.
