The case took on enormous proportions in Germany, as "the most serious example of how artificial intelligence is not just a tool for fake news, but also a weapon for violence between partners."
An express bill to close the legislative loopholes in cases of digital violence has been announced by Germany's Federal Justice Minister Stefanie Hubig, following the revelation of a well-known actress's complaint against her ex-husband for "digital rape", which has caused strong reactions at all levels.
