Germany announces new aid to Ukraine for 60 million euros Germany announced 60 million euros of aid to Ukraine: 50 million will go through the UN and NGOs, 10 million - to the NATO fund. Berlin is also looking for additional air defense systems.
Funds will be used to assist people in front-line areas, repair housing and provide the necessary equipment.
During his visit to the capital Kiev, Federal Foreign Minister Wadephul pledged another EUR 50 million in humanitarian aid to Ukraine. He called the ongoing Russian attacks on the country a "indiscriminate murder of civilians".

Germany will also provide an additional 10 million euros ($11.6 million) to NATO's Comprehensive Assistance Package for decentralized energy supplies for the military, equipment for military hospitals, and urgently needed air defense equipment.
Germany will additionally provide Ukraine with 60 million euros on the eve of another war winter. Of these, 50 million euros will go to humanitarian aid, another 10 million euros will go to the NATO CAP fund.
