As of June 22, Gergely Tardos will take over the management of the State Debt Management Center Ltd. Tardos was previously the Director of the Analysis Center of the Strategy and Finance Division of OTP Bank.
The decision was announced by Finance Minister András Kármán.
At the head of ÁKK, Tardos will be responsible for financing public finances and managing public debt and liquidity.
The new manager comes from OTP Bank.
The Minister of Finance announced a change of leadership on Sunday: he appointed a new expert to head the State Debt Management Center, who previously worked as a strategist at OTP and the central bank to ensure balance. He also spoke about the financing of public services.
During his career, Gergely Tardos has become an expert in the fields of macroeconomic analysis, forecasting, monetary and fiscal policy, and bond and foreign exchange markets, wrote Minister of Finance András Kármán.
