Gatik AI Raises $200 Million in Its Largest Funding Series
The round includes participation from Millennium Management, ARK Invest and Intact Private Capital as Gatik expands driverless freight for retailers and grocers.
On Tuesday, autonomous trucking startup Gatik announced it raised $200 million in Series D funding, led by Qatar Investment Authority and Koch Disruptive Technologies .
Gatik CEO and Co-founder Gautam Narang said the investment helps scale operations beyond the trial-and-error phase, servicing Fortune 50 retailers and consumer packaged goods companies.
With more than $600 million in contracted revenue, Gatik has completed 85,000 fully driverless orders with 99% on-time delivery, ARK Invest CEO and CIO Cathie Wood confirmed.
The fresh capital will expand Gatik's 350-person workforce and fleet; Intact Private Capital Managing Director Justin Smith-Lorenzetti said the company possesses the 'technical maturity to be the leader in autonomous freight.'
By the end of 2026, Gatik plans to operate more than 100 driverless trucks across Texas, Arizona, Arkansas, and Canada, expanding autonomous freight capacity in North America.
