Panic in the village of Bisericani, in the municipality of Alexandru cel Bun, Neamț county, after gas smell has been reported in the area several blocks of housing. The subsequent verifications confirmed the existence of gas leaks in five buildings. To eliminate the risk, the natural gas supply was temporarily stopped.
Gas leaks were identified on Monday evening in five blocks in the village of Bisericani, commune of Alexandru cel Bun, Neamț County. Firefighters intervened on the spot, and the natural gas supply of the buildings was stopped until the defect repair, according to the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Neamț.
Gas leaks were reported, and the 75 tenants were not evacuated.
At around 18:15, firefighters were requested by 112 after representatives of an economic operator carrying out work in the area smelled gas in the vicinity of the housing blocks.
