Galveston economic, civil leaders seek to build a stronger, more vibrant downtown

For downtown to become a model for other waterfront communities, civic leaders must address residential density, vacancies, public safety, and access to public parking and restrooms, Joshua Owens, executive director of the Galveston Economic Development Partnership, told The Daily News.
