Freezing rain avoided by county, but snow, sleet kept first responders busy even though roads not, schools out

It wasn’t quite Snowmageddon, but parts of White County saw at least 6 1/2 inches of sleet and snow accumulate over the weekend, leading to the roads being less busy and schools letting out this week.
