Frankie Harris shoots 59 and wins in a playoff on the Korn Ferry Tour
Frankie Harris became the ninth player worldwide to win with a sub-60 final round after birdieing the last hole and surviving a playoff.
On Sunday, Frankie Harris won the Pinnacle Bank Championship with a 12-under 59, securing his first Korn Ferry Tour title in only his sixth start this year.
Alistair Docherty forced a playoff by shooting 64 to reach 22-under 262, while Harris shot 27 on the back nine at The Club at Indian Creek by making over 153 feet of putts.
On the 18th during the second playoff hole, Docherty chipped to 6 feet but missed the par putt, allowing Harris to claim victory.
Harris became the ninth player worldwide to record a sub-60 final round and win a tournament, later stating, "Honestly, like 100% honesty, I did not know I shot a 59."
Previously a standout at South Carolina, Harris competes for PGA Tour status through the Korn Ferry Tour, with the top 20 in the PGA Tour University rankings earning cards for 2027.
