Fort Gay Town Council approves second full-time police officer, chief gives updates

FORT GAY — The Fort Gay Town Council, during a special meeting on Tuesday, April 21, approved the hiring of a second full-time police officer, bringing the Fort Gay Police Department up to a total of six officers. Full-time Police Chief Evan Wilson then swore in Payton Smith as the department's second full-time officer.
