Fort Bend ISD heads back to school amidst school closures, boundary changes

Tuesday marks the start of a new school year for Fort Bend ISD, and with it come several changes for the district.

Throughout the summer Austin ISD has hosted virtual and in-person open houses to share boundary realignment ideas to help balance the number of students at campuses across the entire district. Through these meetings and the online comment card, the district has gathered valuable feedback from community members about the drafted “Oak” and “Elm” boundary scenarios.
