Former state lawmaker known for ‘antics’ joins packed Democratic field for governor

Hulsey aims to boost education, job training, and homelessness services in a competitive race after Gov. Tony Evers steps down, with five Democrats vying for the open seat.

Hulsey acknowledged that he may be best known in Wisconsin politics for his “antics” both within and outside the Capitol building, several of which drew the ire of some of his Democratic colleagues.
