PRAGUE/BRATISLAVA - Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš expressed his condolences to Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico in connection with Tuesday's attack at an elementary school in Staškov, which killed a teacher and injured others. He said on the social network X that it is difficult to find words at a time like this.
Former President Zuzana Čaputová said that the tragedy in Staškovo reminds us of human vulnerability and the need for greater humanity and compassion. Her thoughts are with the family of the teacher who lost her life, as well as those injured and their loved ones.
