Forever Young targets Classic repeat via Jockey Club Gold Cup

Forever Young will stay on dirt and chase a second Breeders' Cup Classic title, trainer Yoshito Yahagi's stable announced Sunday morning in a post on X. The reigning American champion older dirt male and Japanese horse of the year will start in the Grade 1, $1 million Jockey Club Gold Cup at Belmont Park on Sept. 18, then point to the Breeders' Cup Classic on Oct. 31 at Keeneland.
