Damascus, Sep 28 (Latin Press) The establishment of good relations with Iran requires respect for the sovereignty of Syria and a review of the policies applied by Tehran in the past, said today Mohammad Al-Jaffal, adviser for Afro-Asian Affairs of the Syrian Foreign Ministry. The post Syria conditions relations with Iran to respect its sovereignty first appeared on News Press Latina.

Ceffal responded to Iranian President Pezeshkian's statement that "we have not yet established relations with the new Syrian government." He said that for good relations with Iran, Syria's sovereignty must be respected and Tehran must review its previous policies.
