The United Nations Agency for the Assistance of Palestinian Refugees, Unrwa, is considered by Israel to be a terrorist organization. Condemning Israel’s raid and seizure of the UNRWA headquarters in occupied East Jerusalem, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the International Court of Justice’s advisory opinion dated October 22, 2025, clearly stated Israel’s obligation as the occupying power not to obstruct UNRWA’s activities, but rather to facilitate them.
