In 2024, the public sector gained its highest share in the Spanish Stock Exchange of the last 27 years, with a share of 4.1%, eight tenths more than in the previous year. This is reflected in the property report of the shares published on Thursday by the BME Studies Service, which places the State – through SEPI, Enaire and FROB – as a relevant shareholder in strategic companies such as Aena, CaixaBank, Indra, Telefónica, Enagás and Redeia.
