The German Football Association (DFB) plans to move the headquarters of the video referee organization (VAR) to its central training center in Frankfurt in the 2027/28 season, the dpa agency reports. This will rid the German VAR of the pejorative label of operating in a Cologne basement, which has stuck to it due to the current location of the headquarters of the referee organization.
