The second round of local elections is taking place today in the Northern Basque Country. Ten towns in Lapurdi and the capital of Zubero are called to vote; specifically, Bayonne, Miarritz, Bocale, Hendaye, Arbon, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Azcain, Beskoitz, Kambo, Urruña and Maule. The composition of the new Local Council was announced in another 147 towns last Sunday.
