Florida Gas Prices Surge 21 Cents to 4-Month High as Crude Oil Costs Climb

Florida gas prices fell slightly to $4.28 on Monday after hitting a four-month high of $4.33 over the weekend, according to the American Automobile Association.
AAA spokesman Mark Jenkins said rising oil prices contributed to the jump at the pump as ongoing tensions in the Middle East created uncertainty about global oil supplies.

Oil prices climbed 27 percent over the past three weeks, with crude settling at $105.83 per barrel Tuesday. Relief timing remains unclear as prices stay tied to Middle East tensions.
