Heavy rains and overflowing rivers have caused flooding in 13 districts of Bihar, affecting approximately 2.7 million people. 190 community kitchens and 1,429 boats have been deployed for relief. Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary reviewed relief arrangements in Vaishali and Bhagalpur and directed officials to monitor embankments and speed up rescue operations.
