Fireworks stand erupts in flames in Oklahoma
Firefighters and police contained the blaze after fireworks began detonating, and officials said no injuries were reported.
On Saturday night, a fireworks stand in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, erupted in flames, sending fireworks shooting into the air as firefighters worked to contain the blaze.
The Broken Arrow Fire Department responded around 8:50 p.m. Saturday, arriving to find the structure fully engulfed with fireworks actively detonating throughout the scene.
Firefighters worked to control the scene, extinguishing the fire in approximately 20 minutes while officials diverted traffic away from the area to ensure safety.
Despite the dramatic scene, officials confirmed "there are no reported injuries" from the incident, protecting bystanders throughout the emergency response.
Investigation into the cause remains ongoing, following a similar incident in Tennessee earlier this month where a truck carrying fireworks detonated on a highway.
