Firefighters battle restaurant fire on Chicago's West Side

A roof collapsed during a large kitchen fire that quickly spread at a restaurant in a strip mall in Chicago's Austin neighborhood on Friday morning.

Fire breaks out at Austin barbecue restaurant

A fire broke out Friday morning at a business in Austin on the West Side. Firefighters responded to the blaze that appeared to have started around 7 a.m. at a barbecue restaurant in the 5600 block of West Division Street, according to the Chicago Fire Department. The fire spread to neighboring businesses, fire officials said, but no injuries were reported. The fire was struck out around 8:30 a.m.
