Firefighters Battle Residential Fire Near Southeast Hemet

Firefighters Saturday battled a fire in the attic and patio area of a residence in the area of southeast Hemet. The fire was reported around 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the 41000 block of Whittier Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
