Fire worries prompt Fourth of July fireworks reminder

As residents prepare to celebrate the Fourth of July, the Grand County Commission is urging people to follow fireworks laws after fire officials warned that exceptionally dry conditions have created very high wildfire danger across Grand County.  People can set off fireworks at the Center Street Ballpark, above, but are encouraged to follow laws on where they can and cannot be detonated amid prolonged drought and extremely high fire risk.
