The Ministry of Defence has deployed two Chinook transport helicopters to combat the wildfire on the defence site near ‘t Harde in Gelderland. This was reported by the Defence Helicopter Command (DHC) on X.
The Ministry of Defence is once again deploying firefighting helicopters to the wildfire in ’t Harde on the Veluwe. In Weert, an emergency ordinance is in effect for the area where the fire department is still extinguishing the wildfire. The emergency ordinance went into effect late Thursday evening and is still valid on Friday, a spokesperson said.
