According to a recent update by Hellenic Train at 10:25, rail traffic on the Nea Peramos-Ano Liosia section, as well as electricity on the Loutropyrgos-Ano Liosia section, which had been interrupted due to the fire that broke out in the Aspropyrgos area, has been restored. As it became known, train traffic and the routes of the Athens Suburban Railway are expected to gradually return to their normal operation.
A fire that broke out today, Monday (28/08) in Aspropyrgos caused a traffic disruption on a section of the Suburban Road.
Traffic has been restored on the Nea Peramos-Ano Liosia section and electricity has been restored from Loutropyrgos, after an interruption due to a fire. The smooth operation of the Athens Suburban Railway is gradually returning.
Suburban train routes are affected, with delays and modifications to their operation.
