Early morning fire damages Burleigh Food Market

MILWAUKEE — An early morning fire damaged part of a food market on Milwaukee’s north side. Fire crews responded around 1:30 a.m. Thursday to the Burleigh Food Market near 11th and Burleigh. Firefighters were able to control the blaze and said nobody was in the store. No injuries were reported. The Milwaukee Fire Department says the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
