Six suitcases full of cigarettes from third countries: they were withdrawn from circulation by customs at the airport in Luxembourg, where they came from.
LUXEMBOURG. Luxembourg Customs discovered around 122,000 smuggled cigarettes during a check at Findel Airport. Six suitcases were completely filled with them, the customs informed. Luxembourg Customs seized 122.418 contraband cigarettes at Luxembourg airport. Three passengers arrived from Warsaw carrying six suitcases fully filled with cigarettes from Turkey and Armenia.
At the end of August, customs at the airport caught three people trying to smuggle six suitcases full of cigarettes into the country.
Luxembourg Customs has stopped cigarette smuggling from Istanbul and Yerevan via Warsaw and the Grand Duchy to Bordeaux.
