- Citing Article 3.3.2.2 of the FIM Grand Prix World Championship Regulations, stewards determined the rider's actions were prejudicial to the sport; footage showed him pushing and slapping a marshal in the face.
- Ducati rider Francesco Bagnaia won Saturday's sprint race, leading from start to finish and securing his first victory since Sepang by holding off pole-sitter Ai Ogura in the closing stages.
- The #72 will not race on Sunday, reducing Bezzecchi's points advantage as Spaniard Jorge Martin now trails by just 15 points; Aprilia retains appeal rights within one hour of announcement.
- On the podium, Ducati teammate Marc Marquez finished third, while VR46 Racing Team's Fabio Di Giannantonio took fourth place; Australian Jack Miller placed 14th on his Pramac Yamaha, 16 seconds behind.
