Presidential candidate Jim Gavin has been accused of ‘politicising the Defence Forces’ after posing with Army personnel in a now-deleted campaign video. A clip shared on the Fianna Fáil nominee’s social-media channels yesterday showed him running in a barracks and featured Defence Forces personnel appearing to applaud the Áras hopeful.
